On Monday, 22nd  October 2007, Kawasaki PSG-1 Corse team said the chosen rider for season 2008. Ayrton Badovini will ride directly for Kawasaki PSG-1 Corse or possibly entrusted to Pedercini Team wearing Kawasaki colours.

The 21 years old rider born in Piemonte said to be glad of the decision which will give him visibility and increase in terms of experience and professionalism.

The Team Principal, Pierguido Pagani, is satisfied of his choice and he has big projects for this young rider who has been able to draw attention to himself on the ZX-10R during the test at Mugello circuit last week.
